My best friend, Janine could always do cartwheels. It’s like she was born with the ability. Up would go the legs, straight and confident.
I however, looked like someone tossed limp noodles into the air — all long and gangly and uncoordinated. It’s hard to deny… I’ve seen the video.
Attention skills are kind of like cartwheels. Some people are really good at bringing attention to a task with very little effort. Others struggle and try hard but only get “limp noodle” results.
Sustained practice allowed me to finally go upside down and not damage anyone, including myself. And while I’ll never be a gymnast, practice helped get me to a respectable cartwheel.
Just like with cartwheels, the first few days can be frustrating and disheartening. For many children with attention challenges, eye control is a serious challenge. But with practice, it gets easier.
The games in the Attention Arcade get easier, and many tasks at school can become easier. Your child can sit and read for longer periods of time. Self-control can improve so that there are less emotional outbursts and better self-regulation.
After 2 weeks of training regularly, some families see results. At 4 weeks, it becomes clear where the attention training benefits are likely to be seen. After 8 weeks, many of our users have seen dramatic improvement in abilities such as better eye-hand coordination, performing bedtime rituals alone, better able to stay on task, keeping track of assignments… life skills.
The important thing is to train regularly. Just like exercise to improve strength or stamina, children need to build up their attention “strength and stamina”. No, it’s not as easy as taking a pill (although I have heard the side effects can be serious).
56 days to potentially transform your child’s attention skills… and life opportunities. That seems like a worthwhile investment. Get the Attention Arcade and start training!
