Would you be impressed with a very accurate 5-minute reading assessment? We were! And it uses the same Tobii eye tracker as BrainLeap. That is how we first connected with Lexplore and we have become partners in both the UK and the US. We were not the only ones who were impressed. They recently had a segment on the BBC in the UK. It is both informative and entertaining.
Reading and attention are closely connected. Attention training helps strengthen the non-language skills where many children are weak. Even if you have the ability to read the words on a page (which teachers are very good at teaching), you need to have strong enough attention skills to get through the whole sentence, paragraph, and page.
As is probably obvious, Lexplore’s rapid reading assessment and BrainLeap’s Attention Arcade work very well together in schools. One identifies students who struggle with reading and the other helps strengthen attention skills that teachers do not have the tools for training. This can be a powerful combination in conjunction with the language skills that teachers train.
